As we reflect on the year, this theme is evident in the way that Silverchair as a company shifted to a hybrid workforce, publishing thought leadership in the area and overhauling our physical spaces and ways of working to be optimized for that format.
It's also highlighted by the great strides in our actual product, with exciting new tools, functionality, and supporting resources being leveraged by our clients with great success. Our industry partnerships also thrived in 2021, bearing fruit in the form of support for peer review publication according to JATS4R requirements, support for multiple article versions according to NISO JAV recommendations, Seamless Access & GetFTR implementations, and multiple collaborative projects with Google Scholar to improve indexing of books & open access content and to decrease barriers to access for scholars in low-income nations. We also worked closely with industry colleagues to compile a popular report on "Getting the Most Mileage from Your Content."
We were thrilled to announce the launch of our sister company, Hum, and to leverage their knowledge of digital transformation and data unification to further support our publisher community and beyond. Our clients collaborated with us in publisher working groups on gray literature, analytics, UX, and university presses, and shared, learned, and laughed together in our virtual events throughout the year.
Though the numbers below offer only a snapshot of 2021's growth and successes, we hope you're as excited as we are for the opportunities these accomplishments open space for in 2022.
