In 2007, SPE launched OnePetro – a revolutionary multi-publisher online library containing a wealth of technical content on the oil and gas industry. By providing easy access to over 230,000 documents from 21 reputable publishing partners, OnePetro has established itself as the premier research resource within the oil and gas industry.
SPE remains committed to an exceptional user experience that helps members, companies, and institutions to access essential technical information quickly. The evolution of OnePetro is ongoing, and SPE frequently takes advantage of a dynamic range of tools to ensure that customers find the information they need.
For the next advancement of the OnePetro platform, SPE sought a partner with strong knowledge of the research and discoverability needs for both academic and corporate institutions, and a clear digital strategy to ensure OnePetro continues to meet the ever-changing needs of researchers, scientists, engineers, and students.
